Christmas Mini Photoshoot Terms and Conditions
Please read the following terms and conditions carefully before completing your booking. By ticking the confirmation box, you agree to and accept these terms in full.
1. The Session
- Duration: Mini sessions last between 25 and 30 minutes.
- Location: Manor House, Hither Green, London, SE13 5SY.
- Punctuality: Sessions run back-to-back on a fixed timetable. Please arrive on time and ready. If you arrive late, your session time will be reduced by that amount of time so that following clients are not delayed. Sessions cannot run over the allocated finish time.
2. Payment and Bookings
- Full payment of £299 is required at the time of booking to secure your chosen date and time slot.
- Your booking is only confirmed once payment has been received in full.
3. Cancellations and Rescheduling
- Client Cancellation: Because mini session dates and times are strictly limited, your booking reserves a dedicated slot that is unavailable to anyone else. If you cancel:
- Cate Castleton Photography will make reasonable efforts to offer your time slot to other clients or waitlists.
- If your slot is successfully re-booked by another paying client, you will receive a refund of your fee minus a £35 administrative charge.
- If the slot cannot be re-booked, £149 will be refunded and £150 will be retained to cover the photographer’s direct loss of earnings and reserved studio time.
- If you or your family members are unwell, please contact Cate Castleton as early as possible. While rescheduling cannot be guaranteed due to limited dates, every effort will be made to find an alternative slot if one becomes available. If no alternative date can be offered then you will receive a full refund.
- In the unlikely event that the photographer must cancel due to illness or an emergency, you will be offered an alternative date or a full refund.
4. Image Delivery and Products
- Your package includes all fully edited digital images from the session (typically between 5 and 15 images), provided in both high resolution (for printing) and low resolution (for sharing online).
- Digital galleries will be delivered within 2 weeks of your photoshoot date.
- Optional extras (such as board books, baubles, mounted print boxes, or collages) can be ordered separately after your session for an additional fee.
- Raw, unedited files are not provided under any circumstances.
5. Client Cooperation and Children
- The photographer will do everything possible to create a calm, fun, and engaging atmosphere for children and families.
- The photographer is not responsible if a child refuses to cooperate or participate during the allocated 25 to 30 minutes. Session fees remain non-refundable in such events.
- Parents or legal guardians remain fully responsible for the safety and supervision of their children and pets at all times in the studio.
6. Copyright and Image Use
- Copyright: The copyright of all images remains with Cate Castleton Photography.
- Client Licence: You receive a personal, non-commercial print and digital usage licence. You are welcome to print and share your photos with family, friends, and on personal social media accounts. You may not sell the images or use them for commercial gain.
- No Client Alterations or Edits: You may not alter, crop, re-edit, or apply filters (including social media filters, presets, colour adjustments, or AI modifications) to any delivered images. The images must be shared only as delivered by the photographer to protect artistic integrity.
- Promotional Use: Cate Castleton Photography may use selected images for portfolio, website, and social media display. If you prefer your family’s images not to be shared publicly, please inform the photographer in writing prior to your session.
7. Liability
- Cate Castleton Photography holds comprehensive professional and public liability insurance.
- The photographer cannot be held liable for any personal injury, loss, or damage to personal belongings during the session, except where required by law.
